learning environment by following a 70/20/10
formula to learning.
We believe that 70 % of
learning occurs
experientially - so we
provide on the job
development opportunities
that increase knowledge,
skills and abilities. As a
result, over 80% of our
leadership positions are
filled internally.
We believe that 20% of
learning is through coaching
and mentoring. ITT Electronic Systems sponsors
a mentoring Program to
sustain and enhance the
technical knowledge of our
employees.
Lastly, 10% of learning is
obtained through
participating in learning
and development courses. We
hold on-site training
courses to increase
knowledge, skills and
abilities through leading
universities, educational
companies and our own
subject matter experts.
Continuous Learning
ITT supports continuous
learning . On-site advanced
technical and management
degree programs and
e-learning programs are
available in some ES
locations.
Tuition Reimbursement
ITT Electronic Systems
encourages the maximum
educational development of
our employees to enhance
their personal development
and increase their
contribution to our growth
as a company. We have a
generous tuition
reimbursement program that
allows an employee to take
job-related coursework at an
accredited institution –
with special provisions that
apply for doctoral students
